PATRICIA BAHIA (pronounced Bah-HEE-yah) is an indie pop singer-songwriter and cancer survivor based in Los Angeles. With a voice as smooth as polished stone that’s been through the rock tumbler of life, and a collection of frank, sparkling indie pop tunes in the vein of Aimee Mann, Ingrid Michaelson and Sara Bareilles, she lives her bucket list and inspires others to do the same.

In addition to being a performing songwriter, Patricia frequently collaborates with artists and bands, and has garnered placements in TV Shows and promos, including ABC, NBC, TVLand, Freeform, and MTV and the opening and end title credits of the indie films The Price of Silence, and The Rose Bowl.
Patricia's latest full-length CD, Save Your Heart, is AVAILABLE NOW.

"This music is so full of life and passion that it is positively irresistible.”
– Music Morsels Reviews
"You can’t help but be uplifted and inspired by these tunes.  Bahia is a gifted songwriter with impeccable timing and amazing vocals."

From the ethereal power-pop of “Resilient” to the snappy feel-good lilt of “Good Day,” and the heart felt ballad “Blue On Top Of Blue,” [Bahia] obviously has a deep pool of songwriting talents . . . The lyrics are honest, intriguing and appear to be straight from a soul who has lived the stories...
 – Mark Waterbury

"feel-good pop with graceful lyrics."

New Women's Rights Anthem WE CAN DO IT

I'm back from an exhilarating and inspiring trip to Washington DC championing women’s rights. Ali Handal and I sang our anthem WE CAN DO IT at a November 12thrally on the National Mall in Washington DC to help kick off a renewed effort to get Equal Rights for American women under the US Constitution.

The event was part of a remembrance of the women suffragists who fought to get U.S. women the right to vote 100 years ago, and honored the 32 'silent sentinel' women suffragists who, 100 years ago on November…

WHY WE WALK Anthem Gets Posi Award Nomination and National Press

All over the U.S., news organizations reported on the release of my song, Why We Walk, in September 2015 (details below). Why We Walk was nominated for a Positive Music Award (The Posi Awards) in the Social Justice category in 2017. Also in 2017, the sheet music for Why We Walk was included in powerful new songbook 60 Songs for Social Change, available through Empower Music and Arts.

September 2015 Press Release: "The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition has teamed up with singer-songwriter, and ovarian cancer survivor, Patricia Bahia, to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer. "Why We Walk," written by Bahia and produced by Jon Hayes, was released digitally by DreamSongs Records earlier this month, which is "National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month," to help raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer. The song, inspired by her own journey, is set at a walking pace, and is being featured at several NOCC Run/Walk events this month and throughout the year."
